The month of April is celebrated as Transgender Visibility Month. Rudropolash Academy headed by Megh Sayantan Ghosh celebrates their Transgender Visibility Day on 19th April, in Maulana Azad Conference Room ICCR, along with spreading awareness of the transgender visibility celebration.
Transgender people are considered backward and deprived by the society in general though social norms are being assigned equally amongst all the gender irrespectively. “Tritiyo Basanta” is a celebration of their fights and their victory of recognition and their own respect.
Social Enterpreneur and Choreographer Alokananda Roy, Director and CEO Techno India University Sujoy Biswas, General Secretary West Bengal Trinamool Congress Minority cell MD Esteshamul Haque, Fashion Designer Promit Mukherjee and various renowned personalities were invited as honourable chief guests. The dancers of Rudropolash Dance School headed by Megh perfomed Tagore’s famous dance drama “Chitrangada”.
